MSA M1 SCBA Compliance Kit

This is MSA's M1 SCBA compliance kit, built around the M1 self-contained breathing apparatus, which MSA developed side by side with firefighters. The M1 is modular and can be configured for a broad range of needs: buy what suits your budget now and upgrade later, directly in the field.

Modularity

• Easy to assemble, don and train on
• Configure your fleet to suit your needs
• Upgrades can be fitted in the field, without tools

Hygiene

• Easy to clean and take apart
• Dust and water repellent harness material cuts mechanical cleaning time
• The whole SCBA is machine washable without taking it apart

Ergonomics

• Backplate with one-handed height adjustment
• Padded S-shaped harness that prevents pressure points and slipping
• Hip belt and backplate put most of the weight on the hips
• Less than 4 kilos, with height adjustment

Safety

• Better chemical resistance from its material composition
• Easier cleaning makes servicing safer for technicians
• Hoses guided through the backplate reduce snagging
• Reflective harness elements for visibility

Running costs

• Components designed for a longer life
• Extended service intervals reduce maintenance costs

Communication

The lightweight C1 headset attaches easily to the outside of the G1 mask, its microphone design protects against surrounding sound, and it's easy to attach, detach and share.
