Traffic cones
Use reflective cones wherever the zone stays set up after dark or in poor light, and the taller 700 mm cones on faster roads where they need to be seen from further back.

Stop/slow bats
The Brady Stop/Slow Traffic Paddle has a 450 mm Class 1 reflective aluminium face on a 1.8 m handle — the standard “lollipop” for directing traffic around a worksite, school zone or roadworks.

Hi-vis for traffic controllers
Traffic control runs day and night, so most controllers need Day/Night (Class D/N) garments to AS/NZS 4602.1: fluorescent fabric for daylight plus retroreflective tape for headlights. Day-only (Class D) garments without tape aren’t enough once the light drops. Check your client’s and road authority’s colour rules too — some networks specify orange.
