Men's Safety Shoes
A safety shoe is a work boot without the shaft — the same certified toe cap and the same rated sole, with less weight and no ankle collar. That trade-off suits warehouse, logistics, workshop and light trade work, where you are on hard flat floors all day and the ankle support of a full boot is not earning its keep. Everything on this page is certified to AS/NZS 2210.3, with a toe cap rated to 200 joules of impact and 15 kN of compression.
Low, Mid or High?
-
Low-cut shoes — the lightest option, cooler in summer and easiest on and off. No ankle support, and nothing stopping debris getting in over the collar.
-
Mid-height — the compromise: some ankle coverage without the weight or stiffness of a full boot.
-
High-cut — closer to a work boot. Choose this on uneven ground, or where a site specifies ankle support.
On a smooth warehouse floor the sole rating matters more than the height. Our explainer on what SRC means on a safety sole covers which rating to look for on wet tile, oily concrete and polished slab.
