This MSA V-Gard visor is a clear, moulded propionate visor that gives impact protection and suits work where chemical splash hazards also exist, with chemical splash resistance mainly against organic chemicals such as solvents (see MSA's chemical application quick reference guide). MSA states propionate visors offer more impact protection and better optical quality than acetate visors, and this one is moulded for optical quality.
