The Maxisafe G-Force Ultra-Flex 21 (item code GCU240, listed as G-Force Ultra 21 on the Maxisafe data sheet) is a 21 gauge Cut F glove with a sandy nitrile palm coating. Maxisafe describes it as its thinnest glove, made for detailed work that needs dexterity and tactile feel as well as cut protection. It is marked EN388:2016 4X42F and is touchscreen compatible.

Standards and ratings

EN388:2016+A1:2018 code 4X42F: abrasion level 4, blade cut (coup test) X, tear level 4, puncture level 2, and cut level F on the EN ISO 13997 TDM test (the data sheet lists level F as 30 N). X means the coup blade cut test was not rated. The glove is also marked EN16350:2014. The Maxisafe data sheet lists AS/NZS 2161.3 (Occupational protective gloves, Part 3: Protection against mechanical risk), which is based on EN388.

Care and storage

Hand wash only, in cold or warm water up to 40°C, with clean water or a neutral detergent. Do not use bleach, strong acids or alkalis, or organic solvents such as petrol or acetone. Rinse well and dry naturally in a cool, ventilated place away from direct sunlight and heat. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area at 10 to 25°C.
