3M™ Asbestos/Dust Respirator Kit 6835 (Each)

A complete asbestos and dust kit built around the 3M 6000 Series full face respirator, with two pairs of 6035 P2/P3 particulate filters. Fitted to the full face mask, the filters give P3-level protection (P2 on a half face respirator). Their solid-top casing resists early clogging from dirt, grime, water and dust, and is easier to decontaminate.

Uses

Certain asbestos work that calls for a higher protection level (follow SafeWork Australia or WorkSafe NZ guidance), plus lead paint removal, sanding, sawing, drilling, cutting, grinding, masonry, insulation and hazardous dusts such as silica and beryllium, especially where face and eye protection is also needed.

Protection factor

With the 3M 6000 full face respirator, the filters can provide protection up to 100 times the Workplace Exposure Standard (WES) or 30 ppm, whichever is lower. Never use a filtering respirator at concentrations above IDLH levels.
